Notary Offices employees continue protests demanding payment of bonuses

Employees of the Justice Ministry's Notary Offices on Thursday continued their nationwide protest for the second day in a row, demanding that their bonuses be paid.

“We can paralyze the whole government if our demands are not met,” said Tarek Azouz, spokesman for the protesters.

“The Justice Ministry sent four requests to the Finance Ministry to pay our bonuses, but have not been paid yet,” said Ahmed Othman, one of the protesters.

Othman's statement on the late payment of bonuses was confirmed by Assistant Justice Minister Omar Marwan.
