FIFA's executive committee on Thursday decided that the final of the controversial 2022 World Cup in Qatar will be held on December 18, a top official said.
FIFA also wants "in principle" for the tournament to last just 28 days, four days shorter than previous World Cups, a FIFA spokesman Walter de Gregorio told reporters.
