Oil truck fire extinguished near Assiut

Civil defense teams managed on Monday to put out a fire that started when a truck loaded with 35,000 liters of gasoline turned over on the Cairo-Assiut agricultural road.

Security sources attributed the accident to bad weather and poor visibility.

Three people were mildly injured in the accident, including one woman. All were hospitalized at al-Qousiya hospital.

Assiut’s governor Nabil al-Ezaby ordered immediate compensation and full medical care for the injured.
