Photos: EgyptAir launches its first support room for invisible disabilities at Cairo Airport

EgyptAir announced on Wednesday it would open its first ever dedicated support room for passengers with invisible disabilities and their companions at Cairo International Airport.

This comes under its commitment to the state’s Vision 2030 sustainability goals.

EgyptAir said in a statement that the initiative aims to enhance the travel experience for passengers on the autism spectrum and with various sensory conditions, by providing a calm environment that reduces stress and over-stimulation.

The room is located in Departure Hall, Terminal III, in front of Gate IV, with a specialized team offering full assistance from arrival at the airport through boarding the aircraft.

To benefit from this service, passengers are requested to send their flight details at least 48 hours in advance to [email protected].
