During the meeting, Transport Minister Kamel al-Wazir said the upgraded Gargoub port serves as Egypt’s northwestern window to Europe and the world for the exchange of modern industries and commercial activities, which in turn contributes to creating a sustainable urban community and providing job opportunities for local residents.

The meeting reviewed a strategic plan for developing Gargoub industrial city, which includes an industrial zone, a logistics area, a business center and urban areas, as well as tourist places. (MENA)
