Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly reviewed on Tuesday measures to increase incentives for academic staff of universities and research centers.
This came during a meeting chaired by the prime minister on Tuesday to discuss ways and mechanisms to increase incentives for faculty members at universities and research centers. The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture Abdelaziz Konsowa, as well as officials from both ministries.
The discussions also covered the financial requirements and implementation steps needed to introduce the proposed increase while ensuring consistency with the state budget.
Madbouly directed that the draft decision be finalized promptly for submission to the Cabinet for consideration.
