Pro-Morsy alliance denounces South Sinai, Heliopolis bombings

The National Alliance to Support Legitimacy and Reject the Coup, an alliance formed by toppled President Mohamed Morsy supporters following his ouster in July 2013, denounced the three bombings which occured Friday morning in South Sinai and Cairo.

"The crisis in Egypt is political and security solutions are unfit to solve it," alliance spokesperson Magdy Qarqar told the Anadolu news agency.

In addition to denouncing the bombings, Qarqar called for a political solution to the crisis as the alliance rejects violence and calls for peacefulness in all protests.

"There are parties who do not want any good for Egypt, and seek to divide its people," Qarqar added.

The National Alliance had called for a fresh wave of protests it dubbed the "Third revolutionary wave."
