Pro-Morsy figure accuses Interior Ministry of assassinating police leader

Amr Abdel Hady, leader of the National Alliance to Support Legitimacy and former member of the constituent assembly which drafted the 2012 Constitution, accused the Interior Ministry of assassinating Major General Mohamed al-Saeed for maintaining good relations with the  Muslim Brotherhood.

Abdel Hady told Al Jazeera Mubasher Misr on Tuesday morning thay he met Saeed twice at the Shura Council, describing him as a "wonderful man."
 
"Saeed has been disposed of due to his links to the Muslim Brotherhood," according to Hady.
 
Unknown gunmen assassinated on Tuesday Major General Mohamed al-Saeed, head of Interior Ministry’s technical office.
 
Security sources told Al-Masry Al-Youm that unknown elements killed Saeed in front of his house in al-Talbeya area in Haram district.
