Ahmed Abdel Aal of the General Authority for Meteorology said low clouds are expected on Wednesday through Saturday in the north and the east, accompanied by heavy rain on the northern coasts and in Sinai, with a possibility of torrents on Thursday and Friday, while moderate rain is expected in Cairo and the Delta.
He added that the weather will generally be cold during the day and very cold at night, with low visibility on highways and a distorted maritime traffic in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean.
Average temperatures on the northern coasts are 14 degrees to 16 degrees, in the Delta and Cairo 14 degrees to 17 degrees, in northern Upper Egypt 15 degrees to 18 degrees, in southern Upper Egypt 16 degrees to 18 degrees and in South Sinai 17 degrees to 19 degrees.
