Rain to fall across Egypt Friday, Cairo: 25C

Meteorologists predict an accumulation of low and medium-level clouds in northern Egypt accompanied by rain on Friday. Heavy rains are expected for the North Coast and Lower Egypt.

Moderate rain is expected for Cairo, northern Upper Egypt and Sinai.

Meanwhile, light rain will fall in the Red Sea governorate, Halayeb and Shalateen.

Mild temperatures are expected across Egypt during daylight hours, cooling down by night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 23C in Alexandria, 25C in Cairo, 27C in Qena, 28C in Luxor, and 28C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across Egypt’s northern parts in the morning. Winds are expected to be northwesterly and moderate.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be light to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height.

Surface winds are northeasterly for the Mediterranean Sea and northwesterly for the Red Sea.
