Minister of Industry, Trade and Small and Medium Enterprises Mounir Fakhri Abdel Nour and Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Khaled Hanafi opened the Ramadan Commodities Fair in Nasr City.
The fair will be held from 18 to 27 June with the participation of 60 companies, including 41 companies benefiting from the Social Development Fund and 19 companies of the Holding Company for Food Industries.
“The fair promotes internal trade and provides families with all their Ramadan requirements at reduced prices,” Abdel Nour said, asserting that the ministry will support all sectors that serve producers and consumers.
He said the fair does not aim to make profits as much as starting a new culture of exhibitions in line with the change that is taking place in Egypt and retaining consumer confidence in the local products.
