Reducing diplomatic Egyptian-Turkish representation not to affect air transport: Minister

Civil Aviation Minister abdel Aziz Fadel has said reducing diplomatic representation between Turkey and Egypt will not affect air transport agreements between the two countries, being international ones.
Fadel said on Saturday that flights between Egypt and Turkey are few as Egyptians abstain from traveling to Turkey, flights coming from Turkey are the same, thus the two countries’ airlines do not stick to specific number of flights according to the agreements.
Fadel indicated that the flights reach weekly 30 due to low number of passengers.
Egyptian Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday reducing diplomatic representation between the countries to the charge d’affaires level and expelled the Turkish ambassador to Cairo.
