Stock market makes highest gains since 2008

The Egyptian Stock Exchange made Tuesday its highest gains since mid-July 2008 backed by the progress of the indicators of confidence in the Egyptian economy and market.
 
Trading volume exceeded LE1 billion Tuesday although Arab investors continued to favor selling.
 
For indicators, the main EGX 30, belonging to the largest 30 companies on market, rose by 1.82 percent.
 
EGX 70 of the small and medium shares rose by 0.43 percent, while the broader EGX 100 rose by about 1.01 percent.
 
Today's session was a very good one as the main index recorded its highest close since 16 July, Chairman of a securities' company Adel Abdel Fattah told Egynews website affiliated with the state television Tuesday.
