Supreme Council for Media Regulation to discuss complaints against Riham Saeed

The Complaints Committee of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation will hold a meeting Saturday to discuss the complaints filed against journalist and host Riham Saeed.

Saeed discussed the issue of obesity during her program. Complaints accused her of directing serious insults toward obese people that caused great dissatisfaction among Egyptian women.

Gamal Shawki, head of the complaints committee, told Al-Masry Al-Youm that Saeed will be summoned to appear before the committee for interrogation at 2 pm on Sunday.

The episode of Saeed’s program included shocking insults to women while reviewing the problem of obesity in Egypt.
