Tarek Nour behind ‘Yes to the Constitution’ campaign

Tarek Nour, the prominent ad agency owner, said he is the man behind the “Yes to the Constitution campaign” campaign aired on satellite channels, with the support of some other businessmen who “love Egypt,” as he described them, refusing to give their names away.

Nour said that businessmen aim to truly support Egypt, and push the wheel of production to run and Egypt to move forward.

This comes in contrast to what used to take place during the time of ousted president Hosni Mubarak, according to Nour, when businessmen were proud to put their names and to openly tell the president they support him.

Most of the satellite networks contribute to the campaign to support the constitution free of charge, and some acquired airing fees only when it was first aired, Nour added.

The participation in the referendum on the constitution means to legitimize the 30 June uprising, he said.
