Ten new ministers, 11 deputies to ministries, take oath in front of Sisi: Parliament Speaker

Ten new ministers and 11 deputies to the ministers took oath on Sunday in front of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi following the approval by the House of Representatives on the cabinet reshuffle, according to the speaker of House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal on Saturday.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly will become Minister of Investment and Minister of Administrative Reform as well as the Prime Minister, added Abdel Aal, explaining that Madbouly will hold individual accountability as head of two ministries and collaborative responsibility as Prime Minister.

The reshuffle included the appointment of Khaled Anany as Minister of Tourism and Minister of Antiquities, Chancellor Omar Marwan as Minister of Justice, Hala al-Saeed as Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Rania al-Mashat as Minister of International Cooperation, Osama Heikal as Minister of State for the Media Affairs, Muhammad Manar Enabah as Minister of Civil Aviation, Nevine Kabbaj as Minister of Social Solidarity, Muhammad Marzouk al-Qusayr as Minister of Agriculture, Nevine Gamea as Minister of Trade and Industry and Alaa Fouad Abu al-Hassan as Minister of Parliamentarian Councils.

The reshuffle also included the appointment of eleven deputies: Deputy Minister of Communications for Institutional Development Ghada Labib, Deputy Minister of Health for Population Affairs Tariq Amin, Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation Montaser Manna, Deputy Minister of Higher Education for University Affairs Ayman Ashour, Deputy Minister of Technical Education for Teacher Affairs Reda Higazy, Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education for Technology Development Affairs Ahmed Mohamed Taher Mohamed Hassan, Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Mineral Resources Affairs Alaa al-Din Abdel Hakim Imam Khashab, Deputy Minister of Agriculture for Livestock, Fisheries and Poultry Affairs Mustafa al-Sayed, Deputy Minister of Housing for Infrastructure Affairs Ismail Ali Ahmed, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Infrastructure Affairs Raaft Abdel Aziz Fahmy and Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Affairs Ghada Shalaby.
