The Travel website highlighted in a report, under the title “Destination Egypt! 10 Unique Places You Must Visit”, ten distinct tourist places in Egypt.
“Egypt’s rich history and fascinating Egyptian ruins make it a top destination, in general, and these unique places are topping the list,” the report stated.
The ten destinations listed by The Travel included Cairo, the pyramids of Giza, Aswan’s Temples of Abu Simbel, the White Desert National Park, Alexandia City, Saqqara, Dashur and Memphis, Luxor’s Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings, Aswan City, Citadel of Saladin, and the Red Sea Coast.
The report pointed out that Egypt is one of the most visited African countries, as it is a country with a long history and still has a lot to be discovered, and it also has many wonderful tourist places that can be visited and enjoyed.
According to the report, Egypt is the right country for tourists looking for a good and historical place to travel to in Africa, being the home of one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Giza Pyramids.
The report shed light on the Egyptian capital, Cairo, explaining that it has many places that make visitors want to spend several days in it to explore, in addition to being home to unique Egyptian museums, including the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. It also highlighted bazaars that can be visited in Cairo to buy unique and traditional products.
For Giza the report said it has the Pyramids of Giza, the last of the Ancient’ World Seven Wonders.
“Visiting the Pyramids of Giza is a dream for many visitors. There is so much to discover in this destination, such as the tombs of the popular Egyptian leaders such as Pharaohs Cheops, Mycerinus, Chephren, And the enigma Sphinx,” the report stated.
Regarding the Citadel of Saladin in Cairo, the report mentioned that it is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites built by the famous Ayyubid ruler Saladin to protect Cairo and Fustat against Crusaders.
The report also considered the two temples of Abu Simbel on Lake Nasser, one of the famous attractions in Egypt, in addition to the White Desert, which is a wonderful natural scenery, that visitors can enjoy. The desert has many activities that enrich the experience of visitors and make it more imaginative such as hiking and camping at night.
Alexandria is unique and has many large squares and its architecture tells a lot about Egyptian history, making it a charming old-style city, the report said, highlighting the gardens of the Montazah Palace and the Citadel of Qaitbay.
The report added that Egypt is rich in antiquities that reflect the rich ancient history, most notably the pyramids of Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis, which are among the most important places to visit and are characterized by ancient sculptures, drawings, and writings.
The report highlighted the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Karnak Temples in Luxor and Luxor Temple, which are among the most famous tourist destinations in Upper Egypt.
It also talked about the city of Aswan as the most distinguished and relaxing holiday destination in Egypt, and as one of the oldest attractions along the Nile River that has great views of sand dunes that catch the eye, along with the island of Philae, which offers a wonderful experience for relaxation. The report highlighted Nubian villages in southern Aswan.
The Red Sea coast was also highlighted as the best destination for diving and snorkeling and home to huge coral reefs and unique fish, as well as being one of the popular destinations for many visitors to spend holidays and enjoy tourist resorts, sunshine and sand, in the cities of Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, Marsa Alam and others.
