Three soldiers killed and 25 injured in south Cairo car accident

Three Egyptian soldiers died and 25 others were injured on Friday when a Central Security vehicle overturned on the Safat al-Laban bridge in the Giza governorate.

According to an investigation, the Central Security car was transporting 30 soldiers and police officers when it overturned on the bridge.

The preliminary investigation indicated that the steering wheel had broken, security sources said.  

The injured soldiers were transferred to Bulaq Dakrur, Imbaba and Um al-Masriyeen hospitals, while the three bodies were taken to the Um al-Masriyeen morgue.
