Former Member of Parliament Osama Sharshar said that the timing of Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Washington was a reward from US President Donald Trump that effectively granted him the green light to burn the West Bank.
Sharshar added that “Trump’s promise is more dangerous than the Balfour Declaration,” because he wants to erase Palestinian lands from the map, warning that it seems the Zionist-American plan is proceeding rapidly.
“I followed the comments of Nabil Fahmy, the new Secretary-General of the Arab League—whom the Arab peoples expect to be a guardian of their hopes and a fulfiller of their dreams—and asked: Why doesn’t the Arab League call for an emergency Arab summit regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque and the West Bank? And why doesn’t the Arab and Islamic groups at the United Nations submit a request to the Security Council to designate Israeli settler militias as terrorist groups?”
Sharshar pointed out that what is happening in the West Bank and Jerusalem is the same plan that was implemented in Gaza, involving the extermination of people, the alteration of the identity of villages, the seizure of land and homes, and the burning of thousands of acres of olive groves.
