US dollar exchange rates decline in Egyptian banks

Exchange rates for US dollars declined against the Egyptian pound at the beginning of official trading in Egyptian banks on Tuesday.

The exchange rate at the Central Bank of Egypt recorded a decline of about three piasters, recording LE15.99 for purchase and LE 16.12 for sale, compared to LE16.02 for purchase and LE16.15 for sale on Monday.

The exchange rate in the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr and Banque du Caire decreased by about three piasters as well, reaching LE16.02 for purchase and LE 16.12 for sale.

The rate at ALEXBANK, meanwhile, decreased by four piasters to record LE16 for purchase and LE16.10 for sale.

The US dollar exchange rate remained stable at Al Baraka Bank, at LE 16.11 for purchase and LE16.21 for sale, while the exchange rate at the Arab African International Bank and Credit Agricole decreased by three piasters to register LE16 for purchase and LE16.10 for sale.

At the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, the Commercial International Bank, the Housing and Development Bank, the Arab Bank, the National Bank of Kuwait, the HSBC Bank and Banque Audi dollars were set at LE16.16 for purchase and LE 16.13 for sale.

At the Suez Canal Bank the dollar stood at LE15.98 for purchase and LE16.08 for sale.
