Warm weather forecast for Monday, Cairo 27C

 

Meteorologists predict temperatures to increase on Monday across most parts of Egypt, with warm weather is expected on the northwestern parts of the country until northern Upper Egypt, hotter at southern Upper Egypt, and growing colder by night across the entire country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 24C in Alexandria, 25C in Hurghada, 26C in Sharm al-Sheikh, 27C in Cairo,  29C in Qena, and 30C in Luxor and Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning at Lower Egypt, Cairo up until northern Upper Egypt. Low and medium-level clouds are also expected in the southern parts of the country, accompanied by rainfall.

Winds are predicted to be mainly southeastern and moderate, active on the far west blowing up sand and dust, and will be also active on the Mediterranean Sea disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height, with southeasterly surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with southeasterly winds.
