Meteorologists have warned against unstable weather on Friday.
In a statement on Thursday, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said that unstable weather is expected on Friday, reaching its peak on Saturday and Sunday.
Low- and medium-level clouds will be seen on most parts of the country, accompanied in some regions by heavy rains and thunder; especially on northern coasts overlooking the Mediterranean from Salloum city in the west to Rafah and Arish cities in the east.
Light rains will drop on the Delta, Cairo, the Suez canal provinces and central Sinai up until northern Upper Egypt.
A strong decline in temperatures will be felt from cool during the daytime to extremely cold during the night.
The EMA urged governors to take necessary precautions to limit the negative impact resulting from heavy rains, especially in northern Sinai and the regions of the North Coast.
