Wednesday sees more hot, humid weather across Egypt

Meteorologists predict hot and humid weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt, with very hot weather at Southern Upper Egypt in the daylight on Wednesday.

Moderate weather is predicted along the northern coasts, and the weather will grow milder at night throughout the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 31C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo, 38C in Qena, 40C in Luxor and 42C in Aswan.

Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low -level clouds anticipated.

Winds will be mostly northeastern and moderate, active on southern Upper Egypt and south of Egypt, possibly disturbing maritime navigation in Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light to moderate and range between one and 1.5 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between two and 2.5 meters, with northwestern surface winds.
