Egypt’s national team is preparing for a crucial quarterfinal match against the Ivory Coast in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Saturday, January 10.
The match will kick off at 9:00 PM Cairo time at Adrar Stadium in Agadir, Morocco, as part of the quarterfinal stage of the AFCON.
The 2025 AFCON is being held in Morocco, featuring 24 teams, and will conclude on January 18.
Egypt, led by coach Hossam Hassan, qualified for the quarterfinals after defeating Benin 3-1 in extra time on Monday evening at the Adrar Stadium in Agadir.
Ivory Coast qualified for the quarterfinals on Tuesday evening after a 3-0 victory over Burkina Faso at the Marrakech Stadium in Marrakech city.
