Egypt’s national football team is scheduled to kick off its upcoming World Cup campaign against Belgium in the opening round of the group stage. The highly anticipated match will take place on Monday, June 15, at 10:00 PM Cairo time.
The Pharaohs are placed in Group G of the FIFA World Cup, alongside Belgium, New Zealand, and Iran.
In their final rehearsal ahead of the global tournament, Egypt faced Brazil in a friendly match that ended in a 2–1 victory for the Samba Kings. The encounter took place at FirstEnergy Stadium (Huntington Bank Field) at 1:00 AM Cairo time.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to officially begin on June 11 and will run through July 19.
