The official spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency announced that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will receive the players of the national football team, along with the technical and administrative staff, on Saturday.
Sisi had previously extended his gratitude and appreciation to the national team delegation participating in the 2026 World Cup.
Following the team’s match against Argentina last Tuesday, the President’s official social media page shared a message stating:
“Thank you to our heroes on the national football team for your honorable performance and for achieving an unprecedented milestone in the history of Egyptian football.”
The President added: “We are proud of you and your achievement, and the future holds even better things for you, God willing.”
