Seven cases kept in Fayyoum hospital over doubts of swine flu infection

Fayyoum fever hospital has kept seven cases over doubts to be infected with the H1N1 virus, otherwise known as swine flu. Three others, whose samples tested positive recovered after being treated with Tamiflu, according to Nabil Thabet, head of the hospital.
 
Thabet added that the cases suspected of infection were isolated and vaccinated as a precautionary measure until results from Health Ministry of their samples come up. “The cases kept at hospital were suffering high temperature, shortness of breath and other symptoms similar to those of swine flu,” he said.
 
Health Ministry put death toll from swine flu Tuesday at 55 since December.
