Weather forecast for Friday

Meteorologists predict moderate weather on Friday nationwide, except in Upper Egypt where hotter weather is expected in daylight hours and milder weather at night.
 
A maximum of 27 degrees centigrade is predicted in the capital. The north of Egypt will be slightly cooler, with Alexandria at 26C, while the Sinai resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh will be a warmer 32C.
 
Maximum temperatures predicted in Qena, Luxor, and Aswan are 32C, 33C and 35C respectively.
 
Medium and low-level clouds are expected along the north coast, where there is the possibility of some rain.
 
Heavy mist will affect visibility in the morning in Lower Egypt, Cairo and the Suez Canal cities.
 
The wind will be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength. It will be active in the Red Sea, and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.
 
Waves on the Mediterranean Sea are expected to average between 1.5 and 2 meters high, and between 2 to 2.5 meters high on the Red Sea. A northwesterly surface wind is expected on both seas.
