Booking for housing units of New Administrative Capital to start after eid: Housing Minister

Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Mostafa Madbouly, announced the commencement of booking for housing units, villas and apartments in the New Administrative Capital following Eid al-Adha, pointing out that the first residential neighborhood in the project includes about 25,000 housing units.

“We started the advertising campaign to market the units of the New Administrative Capital,” Madbouly said during his tour at the project inspection site on Thursday, looking at the final finishes for the residential units.

He added that a large part of the residential units project will be finalized this year.

Housing units for government employees of will have different areas to suit the different income segments of government employees, in accordance to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s directives, he said. The construction of these units will start very soon, said Madbouly.

The minister announced that each housing unit will contain Internet as well as a central satellite, and will be introduced by the government.

There will be a number of schools, such as the Nile School, a hypermarket, a youth center, post offices, police departments and other services in the first residential unit constructed in the project.
