Meteorologists expect Friday slightly hotter weather to prevail along the north coast, to be hotter in Lower Egypt, Cairo, and northern Upper Egypt.
It will be very hot in the south of Egypt, especially during daylight hours.
Low- and medium-level clouds will appear in the north. Mist will affect visibility in the morning, in the north.
Winds will be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength. It will be active over the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height. In the Red Sea, it is expected to range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height. Surface wind will be northwesterly in both seas.
Maximum temperatures predicted for Friday are in Cairo: 36C, in Alexandria: 30C, in Qena: 39C, in Luxor: 41C, and in Aswan: 42C.
