Hurghada policeman sentenced to 6 months in prison for abducting shop owner

The Hurghada Misdemeanor Court sentenced a policeman working with the road security department to six months in prison on Monday, ordering him pay LE500 in bail money over the alleged kidnapping of a souvenir shop owner.

The owner accused the policeman of refusing to return money he had loaned him, resulting in the man's kidnapping.

After the incident was proven by prosecution, the lawsuit was referred to court.
