Military says 54 extremists arrested in Sinai

Joint troops of police and military have raided what officials are calling terrorist safe havens in North Sinai, arresting 54 militants.
 
According to a statement by the armed forces, 12 of these safe havens were destroyed.
 
Officials said the group was in possession of a laptop, whose hard drive revealed several terrorist plots.
 
The troops also seized three grenades, one kilogram of TNT explosive substance, machine guns, rifles, wireless devices and wire used in bombing.
 
Eleven cars and 32 motorbikes and other vehicles used by the outlaws were destroyed by the forces. Six farms of marijuana and a stock used in smuggling were also destroyed. Seven tons of marijuana were found inside.
