Military spokesperson Ahmed Mohamed Ali on Tuesday posted on Facebook that the Air Force is conducting exercises until the end of the month, and urged citizens not to be disturbed by the sounds of planes in certain areas.

Explosions were heard in four Egyptian cities in October, which Ali said were from military aircraft breaking the sound barrier during training, denying allegations that Israeli planes had penetrated Egyptian airspace.
