Morsy to visit Qatar in March, invited to India and Pakistan

President Mohamed Morsy is attending the Arab Summit to be held in the Qatari capital of Doha on 26 and 27 March, said presidential spokesperson Omar Amer in a news conference on Thursday.
“The president is also invited to India and Pakistan in March,” he added.
Amer did not clarify if the president would also visiting Washington this month, as anonymous sources suggested.
The president’s office said in a statement that President Barack Obama called Morsy this week and told him he looks forward to his visit this year.
Morsy had dispatched former Vice President Mahmoud Mekki to the eighth summit of Islamic countries in Pakistan last November.
