Saad al-Husseini, a leading figure in the Freedom and Justice Party, told the state-owned newspaper Al-Ahram that President-elect Mohamed Morsy would not give up being sworn in before Parliament, adding that the result of the election has reflected the will of the people and their aspirations for change and democracy, which was consolidated by the fair Egyptian judiciary.

Morsy’s supporters have applauded the result and called for rescinding the decision to dissolve parliament.
