Strong winds and dust to continue throughout Friday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects northwesterly winds to remain active on Friday, especially in the north of the country. Dust storms are expected in open areas.

Low- and medium-level clouds are predicted in the north, accompanied by rainfall along the North Coast. Central Sinai and some areas in Lower Egypt, Cairo, and the north of Upper Egypt.

Temperatures will be moderate across most of Egypt during the day, getting colder at night.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea are expected to be very tough and range between 3 to 4 meters in height. In the Red Sea, waves will be mild to tough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters high, with northwesterly surface winds in both seas.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 19C in Cairo, 19C in Alexandria, 21C in Qena, 22C in Luxor, and 23C in Aswan.
