14th Egyptian pilgrim dies during Hajj in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Health and Population announced the death toll the of Egyptian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia rose to 14 Thursday morning. The deceased Sayyed Hassan Mohamed Ali, 80, was from Cairo governorate.

Head of the Hajj medical mission, Ahmed al-Ansary, said that Mohamed was placed in the intensive care unit of Al-Noor Specialist Hospital in Mecca, due to severe pneumonia.

EgyptAir announced that the flights of pilgrims to Mecca will end August 26. Pilgrims will return to Egypt, starting September 6 through the 22, by way of Jeddah city, and from September 6 to the 26 through al-Madina al-Monawara city.
