Mild weather is expected to prevail on Sunday on northern coasts, turning hot in the Delta and in Cairo, meteorologists said.
Visibility will be reduced in the early morning, due to mist on northern coasts, in the Delta, canal provinces and in Cairo.
Low-and medium-level clouds will be seen along the North Coast. Moderate northeasterly winds will blow on the Gulf of Suez, which will disturb maritime navigation.
Highs of 36 degrees centigrade will be reached in Cairo and 28 degrees in Alexandria.
The height of Mediterranean waves will reach between one to 1.5 meters, while the height of Red Sea waves will reach between two to 2.5.meters. Northwesterly wind will blow on both seas.
Extremely hot weather will be felt in Upper Egypt during the daytime.
Highs of 39 degrees will be felt in each of Qena, Luxor and Aswan.
