18 injured as fire broke out in Sharqia train

Eighteen passangers were injured, suffering from asphyxia, after a fire broke out in a Sharqiya train on Wednesday evening.
 
Emergency respondents in Sharqia controled a large fire that broke out in two railcars of the Tanta-Zagazig train, before it spread to the rest of the train.
 
Unidentified assailants reportedly set the trian on fire as the train stopped at al-Nakaria station.
 
Major General Sameh al-Kilany, Sharqia security chief, was notified by Zagazig police station over the fire in the last two railcars of the train. The driver was able to separate them from the rest of the train before reaching to the rest of the cars.
 
Seven fire engines and five ambulances were sent to the scene of the incident.
 
A source from the railways authority said villagers confirmed witnessing two persons while throwing molotovs on the two cars before running away.
