Egypt and Russia witnessed a boom in strategic ties, said Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
Speaking at a press conference with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, Sisi said that the meeting shows the special ties between the two nations.
The meeting with the Russian president will contribute to promoting strategic ties between the two countries in the various spheres.
Sisi, meanwhile, extended thanks to Putin for inviting him to visit Russia.
