The Central Bank of Egypt has mandated a two-day suspension of operations for all banks in the country on Sunday, April 20th, and Monday, April 21st, 2025, in observance of Coptic Orthodox Easter and Sham El Nessim.
According to a statement issued by the bank, services will resume on the morning of Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025.
