The 15th batch of humanitarian aid trucks was dispatched from the Rafah crossing to Kerem Shalom to enter the Gaza Strip.
This comes as part of Egypt’s continuous efforts to alleviate the humanitarian crisis affecting over two million Palestinians in the Strip.
The external courtyard of the Rafah crossing saw the 15th convoy of trucks, loaded with food and humanitarian supplies for those affected by the Israeli war, line up early this Thursday morning before moving to the Kerem Shalom crossing.
A source from the Egyptian Red Crescent stated that the trucks contain large quantities of food and relief aid, including food baskets, flour, fresh bread, legumes, canned food, medicines, and personal care supplies.
Since the war broke out, the total amount of aid that has entered Gaza has reached approximately 37,000 trucks, carrying over 700,000 tons of diverse humanitarian and relief aid, in addition to ambulances and fuel trucks.
Over 1,600 trucks carrying approximately 14,000 tons of essential food aid were delivered in the previous 14 batches, which began on July 27. Additionally, four field hospitals have been prepared to serve the injured and sick.
