Teams from the Egyptian Red Crescent received the 79th group of injured and sick Palestinians arriving in Egypt through the Rafah crossing to receive medical treatment.
The teams also accompanied recovered patients as they left after completing their treatment, in coordination with the ministries of health and population and social solidarity.
The response included psychological support, particularly for children, as well as family-reunification services and the distribution of meals, drinks, clothing and personal-care supplies to meet the needs of injured and sick Palestinians during the crossing process.
The Egyptian Red Crescent continues its humanitarian work at the Rafah crossing around the clock, providing humanitarian and relief assistance to Palestinians and supporting Egyptian efforts to ease their suffering amid difficult humanitarian conditions.
