CAIRO, Sept 28 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty lauded the outstanding contributions of Egyptian cadres serving across various UN bodies, saying their tangible achievements reflect the high caliber and competence of Egyptian talent.
Abdelatty made the remarks during a meeting with Egyptians working at the United Nations in New York that was held on the sidelines of Egypt’s participation in the UN General Assembly.
Abdelatty highlighted the Egyptian government’s efforts to strengthen the country’s presence in international forums and to encourage qualified Egyptians to engage in multilateral work.
He emphasized that supporting Egyptian professionals abroad is a strategic priority, considering them an integral part of Egypt’s soft power and a positive representation of the country on the world stage.
He urged Egyptians working at the UN to maintain the highest standards of professionalism in a manner that reflects Egypt’s distinguished reputation and aligns with the principles and noble objectives of the international system. (MENA)
