
UAE Ambassador in Cairo and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi asserted the depth of the fraternal relations between the UAE and Egypt, highlighting the importance of strengthening cultural and knowledge-based cooperation between institutions in both countries.
This came during his speech at a media forum organized by the UAE National Archives and Library on the sidelines of the 57th Cairo International Book Fair.
The forum is part of the fair’s annual effort to strengthen partnerships with media organizations, highlighting the crucial role of the media in communicating its vision and message and showcasing its cultural and educational projects.
Zaabi said that this long-standing cultural event highlights the importance of knowledge and media as crucial partners in shaping awareness, encouraging dialogue and human understanding, and building communication bridges among peoples.
He said that the UAE’s participation in the Cairo International Book Fair reflects the deep-rooted fraternal and historical ties between the UAE and Egypt.
He added that media cooperation between the two countries represents a distinguished model of successful Arab partnership, contributing to the promotion of purposeful media, reinforcing the values of tolerance and moderation, and spreading awareness and knowledge.
