Egypt’s Ambassador to France Tarek Dahroug hosted a reception in Paris on Friday 23/1/2026 for members of the Egyptian community living in the French capital, as part of the embassy’s efforts to maintain regular contact with Egyptian expatriates in France.
During the meeting, Dahroug held an open discussion with attendees on key issues affecting Egyptians abroad, listening to their concerns and proposals on ways to strengthen ties between the diaspora in France and their home country.
The ambassador stressed the Egyptian foreign ministry’s strong commitment to providing full care and attention to Egyptians overseas, including the delivery of consular services and other forms of support. He also outlined ongoing efforts by the Egyptian government to continuously improve consular services to better meet the needs of citizens abroad.
