The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts that Wednesday’s weather will be cold at night and in the early morning, and warmer during the day across most of the country.
Morning fog is expected inn areas from northern Egypt to Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, growing dense at times in parts of the Nile Delta, the Suez Canal cities, and central Sinai.
The EMA urged drivers to exercise caution while driving.
Wind activity will potentially stir up sand and dust in parts of the northwestern coast and some exposed areas of Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities.
This may reduce horizontal visibility, especially in the Matrouh desert.
Weather maps indicate a chance of light to moderate rain in areas of the northwestern coast and northern Lower Egypt, with lighter rain expected in the southern regions of Halayeb and Shalateen.
Expected temperatures on Wednesday:
- Alexandria: 21C
- Matrouh: 22C
- Cairo: 23C
- Hurghada: 26C
- Sharm El-Sheikh: 28C
- Luxor: 30C
- Aswan: 32C
