The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts warm, windy weather across most of the country on Tuesday, with cooler temperatures expected at night and in the early morning.
Weather maps indicate heightened wind activity in parts of the Lower Egypt, the northwestern coasts, Upper Egypt, and South Sinai.
Wind speeds will range from 30-35 km/h in different areas of Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, and the northern coast.
These winds may intermittently stir up sand and dust in some areas, particularly Salloum, Siwa, and Marsa Matrouh, potentially affecting air quality and visibility in those regions.
Tuesday’s weather will see the formation of morning fog across northern Egypt, extending to Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, the Suez Canal cities, and central Sinai, with the fog potentially becoming dense at times.
The EMA warned of significant temperature variations between day and night. It urged citizens to take the necessary precautions, especially during the early morning and late evening hours.
It also indicated a slight chance of low cloud formation over different areas of the northern coast, the Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities, possibly accompanied by light, sporadic drizzle in some areas.
