The Liverpool Football Club announced the release of a documentary about the team’s star striker, Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah, before his departure from the club at the end of the current season.
Salah had previously announced his departure from Liverpool after the end of the current season in a video posted on his official social media accounts.
According to an official statement on the club’s website, Liverpool confirmed that the documentary, “Salah: Goodbye to the King,” will be released starting Friday, May 22, celebrating the Egyptian star’s exceptional achievements while wearing the number 11 jersey.
Regarding the film’s details, the statement explained: “In the film, the Anfield dressing room is transformed into an intimate setting for an extended and candid interview with Salah.”
It added: “Alongside highlights of key moments, Salah reminisces about the many goals, records, and memories that have defined his career on Merseyside, offering insight into his feelings during that time.”
“His two daughters also join him on the Anfield pitch to relive some unforgettable moments from the very places where they were witnessed.”
