Thousands of Egyptian fans gathered outside the main gate of El Alamein Airport on Friday to welcome the national football team upon its return from the United States after a historic 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.

Supporters from across different age groups waved Egyptian flags and displayed banners featuring images of national team players and the coaching staff.

Many fans wore Egypt’s No. 10 jersey, honoring team captain and international star Mohamed Salah.
